Arrange a Visit

All prospective students are interviewed by the Head of College, and sit a diagnostic computerised test to determine their abilities in English and Mathematics, as well as their overall aptitude.

  1. The interviewer will talk about the different aspects of the IB Middle Years Programme and will look for a commitment to its academic demands.
  2. The interviewer looks to determine the suitability of the student to our discussion based method of learning. The willingness of students to listen to peer contributions is key in this regard. Our taster days are an excellent way to participate in this.
  3. Students are invited to bring in an object, picture or photograph that they would like to talk about during the interview. The interviewer will refer to the student’s questionnaire so we can ensure that each student can follow their own interests at the school. Computerised testing, as well as the student’s current school report, will also be taken into consideration before offering a place.
